Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, the Chief of Air Staff, has extended his commendation to the Bauchi State government for its robust investment in both agriculture and infrastructure, echoing the sentiment that such endeavors are pivotal in fostering peace and stability within the state.
In a recent meeting with Governor Bala Mohammed, Abubakar underscored the alignment of the state’s developmental policies with the Nigerian Air Force’s overarching mission to combat insecurity, particularly within Bauchi State.
He revealed that locations identified in the state as flashpoints based on intelligence reports include Toro, Ningi, and Alakleri local government areas, while assuring the governor that efforts were underway to prevent any untoward incidents in these areas.

“The state government’s heavy investment in infrastructure and agriculture has paid off because we have witnessed relative peace in Bauchi. The governor explained that for the Chief of Air Force to come out to see officers and men was a testimony of his professionalism, while assuring the Air Force of the state’s collaboration in addressing the identified flashpoints to maintain peace.
Mohammed pledged the state government’s full cooperation in tackling identified flashpoints, emphasizing the pivotal role of initiatives like the Africa Development Bank-supported Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones in bolstering food security and augmenting the state’s GDP.
