    Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Sani underscored the plant’s potential to revolutionize the region’s economic outlook. He emphasized its role in not only creating jobs but also in fostering technological advancements and expertise in soy bean extraction and refining processes.

    The governor highlighted the value addition aspect, noting how processing soya beans into high-value products like oil and meal will uplift local farmers’ income and significantly bolster the economic landscape of Kaduna and Nigeria, generating numerous direct and indirect employment opportunities across the production spectrum.

    Sani, while lauding the direct foreign investment brought to his state by Sunagrow International, urged for environmentally friendly extraction methods and encouraged similar investments in various sectors of Kaduna’s economy.

    “I am delighted to perform the groundbreaking for the construction of the $50 million soybean oil refining plant. I call on other investors to avail themselves of the huge opportunities in Kaduna State, especially in agriculture, renewable energy, infrastructure, mining, manufacturing, transportation, ICT, and tourism.” Sanni said

    Echoing the governor’s sentiments, the Managing Director of Sunagrow International Oil Limited, Mr. Ritesh Argawal, expressed gratitude for the support received from the Kaduna State government.     Argawal also expressed optimism about the project’s potential to usher in a new era of progress and prosperity for Kaduna State, underscoring the exciting opportunities that lie ahead through close collaboration between stakeholders.
