Agricultural Field and Extension Officers will visit farms to capture details, providing an opportunity for farmers to receive guidance and support on best practices and new technologies. The exercise is also expected to help eliminate ghost farmers and ensure that government interventions are effective and efficient.

An additional registration phase will be scheduled later, providing an opportunity for farmers who missed the initial exercise to register and be included in the database. This exercise demonstrates the Delta State Government’s commitment to promoting agricultural development and supporting farmers in the state. By establishing a credible database, the government can ensure that resources are used efficiently and effectively, promoting the growth and development of the agricultural sector.
