The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Dev. has launched a capacity building training for pig farmers in Nigeria.
This was revealed at a two-day workshop for pig farmers in Asaba by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr. Mohammed Bello Umar.
Dr. Bello Umar said the training is one of the numerous attempts by the Federal Government to improve protein consumption in the country and equally aid Nigerian farmers to access international market through standard production practices.
